Shouldn’t I let go too?

- “I’m worried you’ll ruin my chances”
-“we’re fucking over! Don’t you get it, we won’t end up together at the end!”
-“she gives me so much butterflies. We just connect.”
-“I don’t see you as the girl I fell in love with.”
-“you say you want me to be happy, but look what you’re doing! Pushing away the girl i like! I like her! I really, really, really like her.”
-“why can’t you just understand that we’re over…”

All these things always yelled, or said to my face. And yet I’m holding on. Why? You make it crystal clear each time. It’s so easy for you to move on because of what I did. But shouldn’t be easy for me too? At this point, if I were you, and you were me, tell me, what would you have done ? Or what would you do? At this point, as of right now, think about all the times I’ve hurt you; then think of all the times you’ve hurt me.
